Stars In Hollywood
Stars in Hollywood is a good camping song. When I thought of the title I felt like I had a good tune. I had to write a few different versions before I got something that I like. Today's kids grow up watching so much TV and with such big cities to live in I imagine that many kids don't get to know the real stars as well as Hollywood's stars. That's where dad's come in and need to take them camping. "Pack up the pick up and get up and get out of here!"

The buildings grow like weeds in the city
Just like ants people fill the streets
It's easy to get lost when you're in this crowd
And even harder to hear yourself pray when it's so loud
So lets pack up the pick up and get up and get out of here
We got to find us a camp site that's just right and get out the gear
Lets leave this world behind one mile at a time
Chorus - Out where stars aren't just in Hollywood
Out where they glitter and shine
Out where stars aren't just in Hollywood
And heaven can watch over us tonight
The air is clean in the country
Just like old friends these trees they stand by
Worries wash away in the river we fish in
As shooting stars make life easy wishing
Lets pack up the pick up and get up and get out of here
Got to find us a camp site that's just right and bust out the gear
Lets leave this world behind one mile at a time
Chorus - (Repeat)
Bridge - Will gather round the campfire
Strum this old guitar and sing a sweet melody
Thank God that we’re here offer a prayer
Cause there's no place we’d rather be
Chorus - (Repeat)
