Ring Around the Rosies
Ring Around the Rosies is a song I wrote after listening to a lot of Bob Dylan. I tried to put a little Dylan feel in to it. Many children sing the Ring Around the Rosies song without knowing the meaning. This is a somber song with a reminder that because of Jesus Christ, all who have died will rise again. "We all fall down."

Mary was just 5 years old and she'd love to go to school
At recess they'd all hold hands and sing
Chorus - "Ring around the rosies pockets full of posies
Ashes to ashes we all fall down"
Hey Jimmy was a quarterback and the captain of the team
He made a little money and dated the home coming queen
He drove a red sports car up and down the boulevard
Until the day doc said Jimmy you're going to lose your hair
Chorus - (Repeat)
Susie was a pretty one and the valdictorian
Teachers pet with her momma's smile
Everyweek she'd go to church and at night she'd read the holly word
Saturday her friends layed her in the ground
Chorus - (Repeat)
Bridge - ahh but we all get back up because Jesus Lord got off that cross Still it's sad and we cry when a loved one a young one at that has to die
