He Forgot to Wear His Ring



This is my only bridge song on the Birthday Suit album, and I believe it paints a real vivid sad story. It seems like sometimes it would just be easier to confess that you've done something wrong then to live with the guilt for the rest of you life. It's a sad song, and hopefully it reminds us all to keep our wedding rings on at all times, and no secrets! Did he die an old man never confessing, or did he take his own life because of the guilt? That's up to you to decide.
