Dreams Change
Growing up, life was baseball. Who needed girls? Well, as you get a little older you start noticing the girls a little more. Then the next thing you know your dreams to get to the major leagues are gone. I don't always write songs that apply to me, but this one really does. One of the coolest things I did after I got married was coach a local little league team. It was awesome! What major leagues?

Songwriter - John West
Album - I Wish I Was A Mexican
Girls! What girls? All he knew was baseball
Boys! What boys? All she knew was dance
Until one friday night under a strobe light at a roller skating rink
His best friend double dared him
To buy that cute girl an ice cream
She blushed and he smiled they left holding hands
Chorus - Now he know longer dreams about
fastballs
And she know longer dreams of the
stage
Isn't love magical
Isn't love so cool
How love makes dreams change
Fear! What fear? All she had was faith in him
Worries! What worries? He had her
One Saturday night under the moon light he asked her for her hand
Chorus - (Repeat)
Bridge - He read a sign that said we need little
league coaches
She took a part time job teaching dance
And now her three your girls are singing
"Me and My Teddy Bear"
And his boys are running everwhere
Chorus - (Repeat)
